Move Registry cleaner to the Tools menu#12

Registry cleaning is not as important as it once was in the Windows XP era. In inexpert hands, it can potentially do more harm than good.

It is still useful for experts, so perhaps it should be moved to the Tools menu so the experts can find it and the non-experts don’t assume it is an important aspect of PC maintenance.

Registry clean is showing me a large number of items that need to be removed from my computer. How can I remove them using CCleaner?

I totally agree with this :
Registry cleaning is not as important as it once was , it can potentially do more harm than good.

Hi @Jacob Singer , there is a button that says ‘Fix selected Issues’. This will remove anything that isn’t needed. You can back up the Registry in case it causes any undesired behaviour, though this is uncommon.

I respectfully disagree with the original suggestion. The only main feature that CCleaner has over its competitors (such as BleachBit) is intelligent registry cleaning. Nothing else comes close. This feature is the only reason I still use CCleaner, and it would be a shame (and diminish UX) to relegate it to a submenu.
